Travelocity Tips:

• Search using flexible travel dates.  This will ensure you get the best flight times with the best prices.  By simply rearranging your departure and arrival dates, you can save a lot of money.
• Always book in advance.  Although your biggest money saver will come using flexible dates, booking in advance will help offset the price of travel.
• Take advantage of travelers’ reviews.  When booking a hotel through Travelocity you have the luxury of reading traveler reviews.  Posted are both good and bad reviews, which ensures you will get an honest opinion of your choices.
• Pay attention to auto suggestions for lower fares.  Travelocity will automatically suggest lower fares from nearby airports.   Driving a few extra miles to your destination will usually be outweighed by discount fares.
• Be sure to designate each passenger’s name.  By leaving the default name of the first passenger, you will be charged a name change fee to correct your mistake.
